About the role
- In your role as a Customer Service Agent (m/f/d) for the Germany, Austria and Switzerland (D/A/CH) region, you are responsible for order entry in SAP and for creating orders, invoices, returns and credit notes.
- You communicate with our customers by phone and in writing regarding orders, price inquiries and complaints, and you create and manage quotations.
- You monitor overdue invoices and handle the dunning process.
- For credit management you administer customer credit limits using the DebiTEX software and release or escalate credit holds.
- You create and maintain customer master data regularly in SAP.
- You handle communication and coordination of all customer-related matters with the field sales representatives assigned to you and with the distribution centers.
- You are responsible for price maintenance for our customers in SAP.
- Organizing pick-ups, including placing orders with transport service providers, is part of your varied responsibilities, as is processing complaints, returns and credit notes.
- Managing consignment warehouses and preparing bonus and quarterly settlements for all purchasing groups round off your varied range of tasks.
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, e.g. as an Industrial Clerk or Office Management Clerk
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a commercial/administrative area, ideally in customer service
- Confident user of MS Office and SAP S/4HANA
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Customer-oriented personality with strong communication skills, enjoys working in a team and takes pleasure in working in a detail- and process-oriented manner
- Able to stay calm under time pressure, set priorities and keep the overview in challenging situations
