Software Engineer

• Design and develop IPF components and Java services for payment processing
• Extend IPF modules to meet business and regulatory needs
• Integrate ICON with upstream/downstream systems, for example core banking, fraud/AML, SWIFT, SEPA, FPS, CHAPS
• Work across the full SDLC from requirements to deployment and support
• Write clean, well documented code aligned to agreed standards
• Own unit and integration tests, support UAT, and production releases
• Partner with BAs, Solution Architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Provide L3 support for ICON and payment processing incidents
• Contribute in code reviews, design discussions, and technical workshops
• Deliver solutions that comply with security, risk, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, ISO 20022)
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across teams.
