About the role
- Independently conduct risk-oriented audits in an international environment
- Review the adequacy and operating effectiveness of the internal control system in commercial/business processes
- Ensure compliance with internal company policies and external requirements
- Identify improvement opportunities and develop measures together with local management teams
- Prepare audit reports in English
- Present audit findings to international management teams
- Contribute to the further development of audit methodology and internal audit regulations
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, law, business informatics (information systems) or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in internal audit or in the finance function of an internationally active company or an auditing firm
- Excellent communication skills in Chinese, German and English
- Experience in project management and ideally experience leading small project teams
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills to grasp complex interrelationships and tasks
- Good IT skills, especially in MS Office, and preferably experience with SAP ERP systems and data analysis applications (e.g., IDEA or Celonis)
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIA, CISA, CFE or CPA) as well as knowledge and experience of precious-metal-related business processes are advantageous
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally and to work efficiently and independently
