About the role
- Enable sales through collaboration with customers, Commercial and R&D teams to generate project quotes and technical proposals.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to determine design feasibility, technical capability fit and project viability.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, fostering strong relationships built on deep understanding of their needs and our solutions.
- Manage leads created through outbound marketing channels.
- Translate the customer’s device roadmap, product strategy, technology, regulatory strategy and business model to internal stakeholders.
- Expand customer knowledge of Heraeus’ capabilities and products by partnering with marketing to develop technical lunch and learns, webinars, demos and other key marketing materials to promote our capabilities in broad channels and within customer meetings.
- Engage and build relationships with our customer’s technical experts.
- Identify partnership opportunities within new and existing accounts and generate new quotes and proposals.
- Continuously expand industry knowledge within technical focus area for the purpose of educating internal Heraeus employees.
- Work towards becoming an industry thought leader through engagement with customers, key opinion leaders, suppliers, and partners.
- Engage with these individuals through projects, conference attendance, white-paper engagements, and social media channels.
- Follow established sales processes.
- Other duties assigned as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field; MBA helpful.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering, sales, or combination of experience required.
- Strong knowledge of neuromodulation and/or cardiac rhythm management strongly preferred
- Experience with the development of implantable medical devices preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated environment a plus, but not essential.
- Ability to work independently.
- Highly accountable for personal performance to effect sales goal achievement.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%, including international travel.
- Fluent English communication skills, written and oral.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
