About the role

  • Design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for gateway and extender products
  • Work on the development of new Wi-Fi features on the PrplOS platform
  • Provide technical assistance to cross-functional teams to troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Wi-Fi certification processes

Requirements

  • 5+ Years experience in Wi-Fi software engineering
  • Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi protocol versions (4, 5, 6, and 7)
  • Experience with Wi-Fi Management Systems such as EasyMesh, AirTies, OpenSync
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and PrplOS platform
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols (DHCP, DNS, HTTP)
  • Hands-on experience in C/C++ programming and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with source version control tools like Git and GitHub
