About the role
- Lead the migration of data infrastructure from Snowflake to Apache Iceberg
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Spark, and Athena
- Implement and optimize data models and workflows using DBT and SQL
- Integrate and manage real-time data streams using Kafka
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, performance, and reliability
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the migration and implementation phases
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, Glue, Spark, Athena
- Proven expertise in Apache Iceberg and data lake architecture
- Proficiency in DBT for data transformation and modeling
- Solid understanding of Kafka for stream processing
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with Snowflake
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
