About the role
- Work with other members of the team to make a positive impact on client projects through the application of user-centred design and research methods.
- Contribute to the execution of design activities as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Apply a range of research and design techniques and work with colleagues in the analysis of findings and creation new experiences.
- Research users and help identify the best methods to understand their needs.
- Contribute to the usability testing process from the development of user recruitment briefs through to test moderation, analysis and report writing.
- Apply qualitative research methods such as user requirements gathering, prototype testing, guerrilla research, and other approaches to understand business and user needs.
- Design user interfaces for both mobile, tablet and desktop – following best practice in information architecture, navigation, and user flows.
- Create iterative prototypes using tools such as Sketch and Figma for user testing.
Requirements
- Degree within a design-related discipline: i.e.: Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Cognitive Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or related field.
- An understanding of user-centred design methods and techniques.
- Understanding of design and research related tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Mural etc.
- Analytical thinking, process-oriented skills, good verbal, and written skills.
- An awareness of web technologies and responsive design patterns.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Keen to learn, evolve, and continually challenge yourself and the way you do things.
