About the role

  • Conduct customer journey mapping to enhance client experience and identify process improvements.
  • Shape and understand exposure scope in line with new FCA regulations.
  • Analyse and document account opening processes and onboarding workflows.
  • Assess and interpret complex As-Is business system landscapes across all areas of the bank.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, providing challenge and clarity on ambiguous scope areas.
  • Produce precise, detailed artefacts to support requirements and design decisions.
  • Support both waterfall and agile delivery models, ensuring robust requirements gathering and traceability.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in requirements gathering and business analysis
  • 7–10 years overall experience as a Business Analyst within banking or financial services.
  • Previous regulatory project experience in the banking/financial services arena.
  • Strong knowledge of: Account opening processes
  • Onboarding procedures
  • Ability to work across complex business systems and interpret technical aspects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate requirements clearly.
