About the role
- The CTPM manages selected complex projects where the company delivers the complete solution as the end-to-end owner, including first-off, large non-standard or cross-organization solutions, or solutions involving third parties.
- The Customer Technical Project Manager leads and directs technical functions, including the Analysis & Design group and the Integration, Verification & Validation group.
- Projects are executed under Market Unit leadership based on the contracted scope, with the CTPM fully accountable for overall solution integration through acceptance and handover to operations.
- Whenever possible, the CTPM is assigned during pre-sales in the project initiation phase to help secure the customer’s decision to purchase from the company.
- During the pre-sales phase, define the technical delivery strategy from requirements gathering through final acceptance and migration, including project organization, gate definitions, deliverables, tools, and technical governance.
- The CTPM leads technical negotiations during implementation, drives technical project execution across multiple streams, and provides solutions to mitigate risks.
- The CTPM verifies end-to-end quality of service and solution stability, ensuring all project KPIs comply with contract definitions.
- The CTPM advises on customer network evolution and pursues opportunities for project up-scopes.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in complex projects spanning cross-domain/end-to-end technology areas
- Experience in Telco core networks and in Cloud and Data Center environments
- Good understanding of pre-sales aspects such as scoping, estimation, and risk management
- Ability to take responsibility, coordinate efforts, and lead technical issues
- Able to work independently and deliver targeted results with minimal supervision
- Self-starter with a strong sense of business ownership and leadership
- Motivated and committed to meeting challenging individual and team deadlines
- Independent and self-directed, with the ability to create order in an unstructured environment
- Experience in configuration and change management
- Solid understanding of systems engineering and integration methodologies
- Understanding of operator business drivers and related technologies
- Technical project management experience
- Strong customer interaction and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience with Nokia solutions, public and/or hybrid cloud, and CI/CD automation
- Prior participation and contribution in pre-sales activities
