About the role
- Define and enforce release policies across suppliers and delivery teams
- Ensure readiness criteria, risk controls, and quality benchmarks are consistently met
- Lead cross-supplier release planning to avoid conflicts and optimize sequencing
- Align release schedules with business priorities and transformation goals
- Review and approve release plans, validating scope, dependencies, and rollback strategies
- Monitor deployment activities and ensure robust validation and recovery procedures
- Facilitate post-release reviews and capture lessons learned
- Drive process maturity and uplift across release management practices
- Maintain a centralized release calendar for stakeholder transparency
- Provide timely updates and coordination across technical and business teams
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering and technology leadership experience
- Proven success in multi-vendor delivery environments
- Expertise in Agile, SAFe, and PRINCE2 methodologies
- Strong background in digital transformation, governance, and risk-based planning
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination
- A commitment to structured delivery and continuous improvement
