About the role

  • In this role you will support the world’s largest banks, financial services providers and insurance companies in successfully addressing the diverse challenges of their industry.
  • You will advise our clients on cloud architecture and engineering leadership, maintain client relationships and build strategic partnerships with our customers.
  • You will expand your existing expertise in designing and developing tailored cloud-based solutions on StackIT, AWS and/or Azure, and you will develop cloud platforms and landing zones.
  • You will take on a technical leadership role, drive innovation through your technical expertise and support other engineers and architects through mentoring and coaching.
  • Together with your team — an international software consulting unit within our Financial Services division — you will contribute to expanding our portfolio, share your knowledge in technical workshops and gain new impulses from our communities.

Requirements

  • Whether you have a relevant vocational qualification, a degree in (business) computer science or another STEM field, or you are a career changer — you are welcome with us!
  • You bring experience designing and working with enterprise-level cloud governance and landing zone frameworks: Compliance as Code, IAM, network design & security and DevSecOps.
  • You can advise clients on sovereign cloud topics, understand the challenges and have hands-on experience with private cloud environments.
  • You have expertise in container and serverless technologies, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Knative or Lambda, and experience guiding teams to select and implement the best solution for a given problem.
  • You also have experience designing IaC solutions using Terraform, Bicep, CDK and GitOps, and promoting the adoption of these technologies.
  • You can communicate and present convincingly and enjoy being part of a team whose spirit drives us.
  • You are open to project-related travel and have very good German and English language skills.
