About the role
- Help supplement the growth & scaling of the company.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to debug, verify, and validate product functionality in an Agile environment.
- Write clear, actionable bug reports and documentation for cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering principles and industry best practices for web and API applications
- Proven ability to analyze evolving requirements and design meaningful, maintainable test cases that drive product reliability
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, preferably Playwright (Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent tools also welcome)
- Strong collaboration mindset — works closely with developers and product teams to debug, verify, and validate product functionality in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript concepts, browser dev tools)
- Working knowledge of API testing (REST, Postman, etc.) and integration testing approaches
- Keen eye for both user experience quality and system behavior integrity — ensuring end-to-end coverage across UI and backend services
- Proven ability to write clear, actionable bug reports and documentation for cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on precision and clarity
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and contribute to root cause analysis
- Growth mindset with a proactive approach to learning, experimenting, and optimizing test strategies
- Bonus: Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines
- Bonus: Experience testing responsive web designs or mobile web applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering for web and API products
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, sprint testing, and continuous integration workflows
- Experience working with Postman or similar tools for API validation
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated progression from manual validation toward automation ownership and technical testing leadership MSI is unable to provide Sponsorship.
