About the role

  • Assist in planning and supervising daily maintenance operations across the hotel.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance for guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  • Help monitor and maintain building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for timely and high-quality service.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, schedules, and inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a similar technical role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, plans, and manuals.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail and high-quality standards.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
