About the role

  • Lead business requirement discussions, gathering, evaluating, and documenting business needs
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications and business process maps for complex solution changes
  • Participate in project and design reviews to ensure solutions align with Medtronic Global IT policies, principles, and standards
  • Drive changes and enhancements through the change management process, including change coordination, stakeholder communication, functional unit testing, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, and hypercare support
  • Coordinate development and support activities with external partners
  • Build and maintain a centralized knowledge repository for process and solution documentation
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Service & Repair IT leadership team
  • Provide 3rd level support for functional SAP-related issues by analysing escalated software concerns and recommending effective solutions
  • Collaborate within projects across an international, diverse, and challenging environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and 12+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience or advanced degree and 5+ years of experience
  • Previous Medtronic experience
  • Hands-on experience with IT Business Analysis methodologies and tools
  • Direct configuration experience with SAP Sales & Distribution and Customer Service modules
  • Practical experience in WebMethods interface design and implementation
  • Deep understanding of Service, Sales, and Logistical business processes
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus among stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex business challenges
  • Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments
  • Background in highly regulated and validated environments
  • Experience implementing SAP S/4HANA
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in easily understandable terms
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives and integrating emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, cloud solutions) within business processes
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR)
