About the role
- Maintain and follow the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with business and IT goals.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to optimize technology projects and costs.
- Facilitate evaluation, selection, and integration of new technologies.
- Develop and govern global application portfolio management strategy.
- Partner with IT Platform owners to evaluate application landscape for rationalization and risk reduction.
- Lead initiatives that assess and mitigate technical debt.
- Manage the lifecycle of key applications.
- Develop risk management strategies for architecture and portfolio decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- 7+ years of managerial experience
- 8+ years of experience in IT leadership, enterprise architecture, or application portfolio management
- Strongly Preferred: Previous Medtronic experience
- Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL, or equivalent certifications in architecture and IT governance preferred
- Strategic Thinking, Leadership, Risk Management, Financial Acumen, Technical Expertise, Innovation Mindset, Process & Governance skills
