About the role
- Manage a dedicated team responsible for business support, vendor management, research, and purchasing
- Lead the business support team in areas such as procurement, supply chain, and vendor management
- Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency
- Support leadership with assistance in reporting and forecasting related to vendor management
- Assist in managing vendor planning, partnerships, payments, and contract related questions
- Ensure that specialty services meet customer needs and market demands
- Support ensuring compliance with product safety, storage, packaging, etc. in facilities
- Responsible for the development and implementation of preventive and predictive purchasing and research processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in related field and at least 2 years of management experience
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional capacity, delivering results through collaboration
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budget management
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and specialty product markets
- Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic work environments
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Regulatory knowledge and compliance experience is advantageous
