About the role
- Review and reconcile unapplied cash
- Work closely with sites to confirm visit activity
- Enter charges into the clinical trial management system (CTMS) if/when needed
- Application of receivables to Cash Receipts Log for all lines of business
- Transactional line-item cash posting into proprietary systems based on remittance detail provided by pharmaceutical companies
- Ensure accuracy of cash postings by contacting pharmaceutical companies to verify payment remittance details
- Review, interpret and discuss remittances from payers for data accuracy
Requirements
- High School Diploma obtained, Associate's Degree highly preferred
- 1+ year work experience with basic financial operations including: debits/credits, reconciliation, invoice structures and payment lifecycles
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Understanding of how payments flow, how to match payments to invoices, and how unapplied cash affects financials.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret remittances, and resolve unidentified cash.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and clear communication skills.
