About the role
- Support corporate and commercial matters, including transactions, business development and litigation support
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including outside law firms, for trademark registrations, commercial licensing, corporate matters and litigation files
- Draft, prepare and review legal documents and contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Participate in special projects to create and improve intake tools, processes and workflows that leverage AI and legal technologies
- Serve as an ambassador for the department on AI and innovation, collaborating with business units and stakeholders to identify efficiency gains, enable smarter workflows, reduce friction and empower the department to act quickly
- Provide administrative and operational support, maintaining organized systems, databases and digital tools to support day-to-day work and innovation initiatives
Requirements
- DEC/College diploma in Legal Techniques or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of legal experience (in-house or in a law firm) preferred
- Strong interest in legal technology, AI integration, innovation and process improvement
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 (including Co‑Pilot and Teams) and Adobe; experience with SharePoint, Power Automate and AI-based contract review tools is an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
