About the role

  • Ensure product compliance with McCormick requirements, customer specifications and applicable regulations
  • Ensure the practical implementation and operational adherence of quality systems and food safety requirements (HACCP, audits and internal inspections, allergen management, etc.)
  • Update associated documentation and train staff
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operations regarding quality and food safety in your sector
  • Participate in continuous improvement working groups by providing quality expertise
  • Be responsible for quality and food safety requirements for projects carried out within the plant
  • Define, improve and optimize product control plans in accordance with specifications
  • Organize and track product analysis results in collaboration with the laboratory
  • Manage non-conformities in collaboration with the relevant departments
  • Participate in the packaging validation process in coordination with Marketing during product development
  • Maintain the indicators for your area and contribute to their improvement

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Food Science/Food Engineering or Biology
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Quality position within the food industry
  • Proficiency in HACCP and auditing techniques required
  • Strong command of English required
  • Knowledge of food safety issues
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proficient with office tools (Excel and PowerPoint)
