About the role
- Lead Strategic Portfolio Growth: Shape and execute long-term flavour portfolio and innovation strategies grounded in consumer, category, and culinary insights to address emerging needs and fuel business expansion across SEA.
- Co-Create Winning Flavour Concepts: Partner with R&D, Innovation, and Commercial teams to turn insights into differentiated, high-impact product concepts. Translate trends into customer-ready stories and solutions that drive engagement and win business.
- Build Strategic Customer Partnerships: Collaborate directly with customer marketing and innovation teams to jointly develop go-to-market strategies, activation platforms, and co-branded innovation pipelines that deliver mutual value.
- Inspire with Flavour Thought Leadership: Represent McCormick in customer meetings, workshops, and industry forums to showcase flavour expertise, market foresight, and innovation capabilities — building brand trust and credibility.
- Equip Commercial Teams for Success: Design and deploy impactful marketing toolkits and customer-facing materials to support commercial teams in strengthening customer engagement, accelerating conversions, and growing existing accounts.
- Identify Growth Levers: Use data-driven market and competitive analysis to recommend new business segments, innovation territories, and partnership models. Support execution through clear, insight-backed marketing plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- 5–7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in foodservice, flavour solutions, ingredients, or FMCG
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, innovation marketing, and strategic customer engagement
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking with a clear focus on growth delivery
- Skilled in customer marketing, co-creation, and storytelling — able to influence internal and external stakeholders with impact
- Proven ability to synthesize insights into actionable innovation pipelines and marketing platforms
- Passion for flavour, culinary creativity, and innovation — with a strong pulse on QSR, processors, and FMCG trends
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills in matrix organizations
- Willing to travel 20–30% across Southeast Asia for customer interaction and regional collaboration.
