About the role
- You will contribute to developing innovative, competitive strategies and concepts for our clients

- You will support strategic initiatives alongside experienced Mercer consultants, taking corporate objectives and sustainability aspects into account
- Internationally, you design compensation systems for top executives
- You support the design of HR strategies
- You monitor current trends, market practices and best practices as well as financial metrics, share prices, and the needs and motivators of the affected employees
Requirements
- You have (or are close to completing) a Master’s or PhD degree with above-average academic performance
- You studied a program with analytical/quantitative focus, e.g., business administration, economics, psychology, mathematics, natural sciences or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in a consulting environment—ideally with a focus on compensation—is an advantage but not required
- You are motivated by challenges at the intersection of strategy, HR, compensation and finance
- You enjoy working with data, are analytically strong and detail-oriented
- You work independently and creatively, combined with strong communication skills
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel
- Ideally you can demonstrate relevant internships, for example in consulting, corporate or financial environments
- In addition to very good German, you communicate fluently in English.
