About the role
- Leverage data, feedback, and competitive analysis to refine and prioritize features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the strategic roadmap and experience vision
- Provide regular updates on delivery progress; create and maintain delivery plans
- Partner with UX, development, QA, and customer service teams through the full delivery lifecycle
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure all releases meet quality standards
- Act as the voice of the member in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions
- Partner with Customer Experience, Operations, and Marketing for alignment on messaging
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Certifications in Product Ownership or related disciplines preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements
- Experience in the Canadian insurance industry, specifically Group Benefits is preferred
- Familiarity with the latest AI trends and technologies is a plus
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and analytics platforms is an asset
