About the role

  • Responsible for all aspects of the contracting process for assigned Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business partners
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of the contract lifecycle—including preparation, coordination, negotiation, and ongoing management of agreements, renewals, amendments, and product or price updates
  • Partner with Legal, Trade Leadership, Account Management, Operations, Analytics, and Marketing to align on business needs and contract objectives
  • Serve as the primary liaison with business partners throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Prepare materials, facilitate discussions, and document key outcomes and follow-up actions
  • Resolve contract-related issues raised by Sales, Operations, or partners promptly to maintain business continuity
  • Negotiate new and renewal agreements, providing redlined recommendations aligned with MHA policies and leadership guidance
  • Ensure alignment with internal policies, pharmaceutical regulations, and trade compliance standards
  • Manage the full life cycle of contracts, including setup, execution, maintenance, renewals, and extensions
  • Collect and analyze contract data to assess performance, compliance, and business impact
  • Track and report contract KPIs and summarize trends for Trade Leadership
  • Identify and implement enhancements in contract routing, approval, and renewal workflows

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–7 years of experience, ideally in contract management, customer service, operations, or analytics within the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industries
  • Strong background in contracting strategy and administration for Healthcare or Pharmaceutical products preferred
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with client-server-based applications and databases
