About the role
- Responsible for all aspects of the contracting process for assigned Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business partners
- Oversee the end-to-end management of the contract lifecycle—including preparation, coordination, negotiation, and ongoing management of agreements, renewals, amendments, and product or price updates
- Partner with Legal, Trade Leadership, Account Management, Operations, Analytics, and Marketing to align on business needs and contract objectives
- Serve as the primary liaison with business partners throughout the contract lifecycle
- Prepare materials, facilitate discussions, and document key outcomes and follow-up actions
- Resolve contract-related issues raised by Sales, Operations, or partners promptly to maintain business continuity
- Negotiate new and renewal agreements, providing redlined recommendations aligned with MHA policies and leadership guidance
- Ensure alignment with internal policies, pharmaceutical regulations, and trade compliance standards
- Manage the full life cycle of contracts, including setup, execution, maintenance, renewals, and extensions
- Collect and analyze contract data to assess performance, compliance, and business impact
- Track and report contract KPIs and summarize trends for Trade Leadership
- Identify and implement enhancements in contract routing, approval, and renewal workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–7 years of experience, ideally in contract management, customer service, operations, or analytics within the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industries
- Strong background in contracting strategy and administration for Healthcare or Pharmaceutical products preferred
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with client-server-based applications and databases
