About the role
- Lead and execute advanced SEO strategies, including GEO/AEO, to maximize brand visibility and user acquisition across both traditional search engines and LLMs (Google’s AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Mistral, etc).
- Design structured, intent-driven content experiences that surface across featured snippets, AI-generated summaries, and conversational search results, and strengthen our programmatic SEO approach by leveraging automation and AI tools.
- Collaborate across teams (Content, Demand Generation, Product, and Engineering) to ensure all digital experiences are optimized for both traditional and AI search ecosystems.
- Partner with Engineering to ensure best-in-class web performance, relying on Google Search Console and audit tools, and build scalable site architectures, metadata systems, and interlinking frameworks that enhance discoverability and rankings.
- Adopt a data-driven approach to identify emerging trends (including AI models and entity-based discovery mechanics), analyze competitor strategies and current SEO performance, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for content and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years in SEO, content strategy, search marketing, or growth roles (AEO/GEO experience a major plus), ideally in a B2B environment (bonus points for marketplace experience).
- Ability to manage both technical aspects (Core Web Vitals, structured data, AI crawlers, etc.) and business impact (positioning, topical authority, user acquisition).
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog) and a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and the evolving role of AI and LLMs in search ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts into clear priorities and initiatives for non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from multiple data sources, report findings effectively, and adjust plans and priorities accordingly.
- Bonus: experience with headless CMS platforms (Prismic, Storyblok, Strapi, Contentful, etc.).
