About the role
- Meet with prospective clients (often via video call or in-person) to understand their vision, lifestyle, needs, and budget for their outdoor space.
- Design and propose complete outdoor concepts specializing in custom decks, railings, and waterproofing solutions.
- Collaborate with the expert in-house team to align design concepts with material selection, construction feasibility, and precise craftsmanship.
- Present clear, professional, and detailed proposals and estimates to clients with confidence.
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
- Manage your sales pipeline and effectively follow up on leads to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Assist clients with understanding technical requirements, such as SB326 compliance for balconies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience in custom home construction, luxury services, or outdoor living design (decking, patios, landscaping).
- A genuine passion for creating high-quality, durable, and stylish outdoor living spaces.
- Strong consultative and listening skills to effectively guide clients through the decision-making process.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple high-value client relationships simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the San Diego and Orange County service areas is a strong plus.
