About the role

  • Lead and manage the implementation of the MORE system
  • Oversee the On-Time Buyers process
  • Ensure effective operation of the Auto-PO (Automatic Purchase Order) process
  • Drive procurement efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across MAHLE North America (USA, Mexico and Canada) locations
  • Issue daily purchase orders linked to external supply needs for operational goods and services
  • Resolve procure-to-pay issues ranging in price discrepancies, quantity imbalances, good receipt requirements of Requesters, invoices without order
  • Support the implementation of MORE/Ariba related design activities for NPM and CapEx within the “Americas”
  • Develop and maintain KPIs to track buyer performance and process efficiency
  • Supervise and support a team of procurement specialists and system users
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Minimum 3–5 years of procurement or sourcing experience required
  • 2+ years of experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing teams required
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA or SAP (materials management, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management) required
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
