About the role
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing Mid-Market sales team.
- Support the team to identify and pursue expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Establish and track key sales performance metrics, ensuring consistent achievement of targets.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
- Creating proposals and negotiating contract renewals with migration plans to new technology.
- Build and facilitate close rapport and relationships with Marketing, Customer Success, Technical Support, Product, Billing and Order Management to set your team up for success.
- Ensure individual team members are achieving quarterly quotas, through continuous training and coaching through novel situations and increasingly complex customer situations.
- Provide product and marketing teams with feedback to ensure the company’s solutions remain competitive and aligned with market demand.
- Onsite travel to strategic accounts with your team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the B2B software industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in SaaS, cloud-based solutions, or enterprise software.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in scaling and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Expertise in sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning.
- Experience in telematics or related SaaS solutions including applications in commercial transportation.
- Minimum of 10 + years experience working in a Mid-Market or Enterprise sales environment, either in a direct sales role or as key team member, directly involved in day-to-day sales activity.
- Proven ability to build and manage mid-market sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills that effectively engage all levels of stakeholders.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
