About the role
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Participant/Party SOR capabilities and integrations across the advisor platform.
- Collaborate with business, data, and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, requirements, and governance principles.
- Serve as liaison to Commonwealth and future M&A integration teams for metadata documentation, data quality, and lineage validation.
- Write and manage epics, stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira, ensuring traceability between business and technical requirements.
- Define and maintain data governance standards, including quality rules, scorecards, and SOR documentation in Confluence.
- Oversee data profiling, lineage analysis, and validation to ensure integrity across source and target systems.
- Lead and mentor team members in agile practices, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies, driving resolution and stakeholder transparency.
- Advocate for customer-centric, data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of data quality and usability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 7+ years in data-centric product ownership, data management, or governance roles within financial services or fintech.
- 5 plus year experience with SQL, data modeling (star/snowflake), and data governance tools.
- 5 plus years experience translating complex data concepts into business value and vice versa.
