About the role
- Promoting the growing range of products and services provided by Cardnet within a Portfolio of existing strategic customers
- Establishing, managing, and developing long term profitable relationships with SME & MC clients
- Conducting face-to-face meetings with existing customers from your Portfolio, typically based in and around London
- Successfully managing approximately 60 customers and identifying ways to add value through additional product offerings
- Ensuring that customer-focused recommendations and decision-making are at the heart of the role
Requirements
- Full and extensive specialist knowledge of card acquiring payment and gateway solutions
- Working knowledge of acquiring schemes, their drivers, industry dynamics, interchange, and future product service deliverables
- An up-to-date knowledge of Industry related technical development
- Knowledge of relevant third-party suppliers (e.g. technology) and partners
- Total awareness of the interests and relationships in existence within any prospective client
- An exceptional profit performance record, ideally within a Client Relationship Management environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Proven success rate in negotiating at the highest level
