About the role
- Overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of technical projects.
- Ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Utilizing technical knowledge to provide guidance and support to project teams.
- Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within a SaaS or cloud services environment within the Public Sector.
- Experience working with Agile frameworks and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello) Proven experience managing complex technical projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, especially AWS.
- Development background experience preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Healthcare industry and regulatory requirements (i.e. HIPAA) Solution Architecture experience is a plus.
