About the role
- Lead the Procurement and Logistics departments
- Ensure open, transparent, and proactive communication within the department and with management and interfaces
- Implement purchasing and procurement strategies
- Evaluate and select suppliers considering delivery dates, costs, and quality
- Contribute to the development of a structured supplier management system and identify alternative sourcing routes
- Ensure supply security for production
- Initiate and manage corrective actions in case of insufficient supplier performance
- Prepare value and cost analyses to identify potential savings
- Conduct purchasing negotiations
- Review and evaluate contracts
- Inventory control and optimization of stock levels
- Continuous optimization of materials management processes
Requirements
- Several years of leadership experience in procurement- or logistics-related areas
- Solid experience in purchasing raw materials, consumables, and operating materials
- Knowledge of serial production, ideally with an automotive focus
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing logistics and material flow processes
- Confident use of ERP systems and very good MS Office skills
- Good to very good written and spoken English skills.
