About the role
- Own and manage the P&L, team, and strategic direction for a large and complex market or region
- Serve as the operational expert for the region; champion operational excellence and own end-to-end operational improvements
- Manage revenue and cost line items to target; conduct regular analysis identifying trends and implement recommendations to grow and optimize
- Act as the face of Lime to the region and partner with Government Relations to develop policy and strategy
- Attract, develop, and performance-manage operational talent; cultivate a high-performing, values-driven culture
- Manage cross-functional strategies with global impact; partner with product, central ops, government relations and other teams
- Spearhead safety initiatives for staff, riders, and vehicles to ensure safety is the #1 priority
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a highly cross-functional visionary manager within operations, management consultancy, financial, business analyst, or equivalent role
- Demonstrated background in driving operational excellence
- Experience owning a P&L
- Advanced understanding of metrics and KPIs and the levers to pull to drive results
- Advanced knowledge of how a warehouse operations works
- 5+ years of experience managing a team of professional level staff for a large and complex market or region
- Experience building and developing top-tier operational teams
- Analytically minded with strong understanding of real-time marketplaces (supply and demand economics)
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills required; knowledge of SQL a major plus
- Comfortable identifying and resolving complex issues and exercising good judgment in ambiguous environments
- Excellent communicator; ability to flex communication style for C-level, internal teams, and external stakeholders (e.g., local government)
- Detail oriented with a focus on process improvement; self-motivated and energetic
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Denver, Colorado area (application question)
