About the role
- Serve as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) embedded in-person at medical clinics in the Portland Metro area
- Provide brief, evidence-based assessments and interventions geared toward functional restoration
- Perform high-level consultation to physicians and other members of the medical care team
- Collaborate as a member of a diverse, multidisciplinary behavioral health team
- Help reduce barriers to, and improve, behavioral health care in primary care
- Use telemedicine as part of hybrid service delivery when appropriate
Requirements
- Fully licensed and credentialed in Oregon (LCSW/LPC/LMFT)
- Experienced in working with adults, children & adolescents, or across the lifespan
- Must reside within commutable distance of local clinic(s)
- Passionate about patient care and committed to clinical excellence
- Ability to work embedded in-person at various medical clinics in the Portland Metro area
