About the role
- Lead and deliver in-house consulting projects focused on production and logistics processes — both strategic and operational
- Independently manage factory planning projects (Greenfield / Brownfield) within the Liebherr Group
- Develop efficient factory structures in close collaboration with our production companies — often medium-sized enterprises
- Analyze, design and optimize manufacturing, assembly and logistics processes across the entire value chain
- Participate in cross-functional OPEX projects and strategic initiatives with a direct implementation focus
- Collaborate with internal partners at all levels — from operational project work up to executive management
Requirements
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable discipline
- Several years of experience in factory planning and/or consulting with a focus on industrial production and logistics processes
- Solid knowledge of relevant methods, e.g., value stream analysis, layout and material-flow planning, capacity and structural planning
- Strong analytical ability, a structured and solution-oriented working style and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with stakeholders at all levels — from the shop floor to executive management
- Very good German and English language skills and willingness to travel (40–60%)
