About the role

  • Strategic management and development of designated key accounts and selected sales partners.
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding long-term customer relationships at decision-maker and partner level.
  • Targeted acquisition of new customers and business partners to expand the customer base and open up new business opportunities.
  • Planning and implementation of appropriate sales measures and campaigns to achieve sales targets.
  • Identifying customer needs, market trends and business potential to further develop existing accounts.
  • Initiating and supporting projects – from requirements analysis through to handover to internal specialist departments.
  • Independently managing pricing, contract negotiations and product positioning.
  • Applying and further developing processes and tools for key account management.
  • Close collaboration with internal interfaces to ensure high customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical or engineering discipline, e.g. Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering.
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the area of e‑drive systems or electronics, and in dealing with international customers.
  • Technical understanding and the ability to identify customer needs and market opportunities and to build long-term relationships.
  • Confident manner with strong communication and negotiation skills and a proactive working style.
  • Willingness to travel for business.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
