About the role
- Support supplier onboarding and supplier development processes
- Conduct capability analyses and audits at suppliers in the joining technology material group
- Prepare and accompany certifications in welding technology, e.g., DIN EN ISO 3834
- Contribute to the introduction and approval of welding procedures
- Support conversion and relocation processes based on risk analyses
- Quality planning in the product development process
- Define and track measures for continuous quality improvement
Requirements
- Completed technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Further training as a Welding Engineer (Schweißfachingenieur) and as an Adhesive Bonding Specialist (Klebefachkraft) is advantageous, or willingness to pursue such training
- Experience with non-destructive testing (VT – visual testing, MT – magnetic particle testing, UT – ultrasonic testing) is advantageous
- Experience in supplier auditing
- Confident and authentic presence
- Independent and analytical way of working
- Willingness to travel regularly for business
- Good written and spoken English skills
