About the role
- Assume responsibility for in-service work packages
- Lead sub-projects
- Direct customer contact and technical coordination with customers and suppliers
- Coordinate and carry out design developments or modifications of existing designs and prepare necessary documentation
- Evaluate production deviations, propose rework measures and clarify root causes
- Perform root-cause analyses and develop solutions agreed internally and with external partners for in-service issues
- Work closely within a project team and independently coordinate with other departments such as Strength/Structural Analysis or Production
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar qualification
- Experience in design and/or structural analysis
- Strong team and communication skills
- Proficient German and English language skills
- Methodical, structured and solution-oriented working approach
- Experience with CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or CREO
- Knowledge of FEM software, preferably ANSYS
- Experience in the aerospace industry is an advantage
