About the role
- Collaborate with LIDD's internal team and the client's subject-matter experts to advise, develop, and deploy enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications:
- Advising on system architecture and solution design;
- Migrating existing systems to the cloud;
- Developing enhancements for existing platforms;
- Reviewing issues and fixing bugs;
- Deploying enhancements, integrations, and data migrations;
- Supporting technology rollouts as part of new deployment projects and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Maintaining and optimizing the existing codebase in a team-oriented environment;
- Reviewing tickets with team members for assessment and resolution;
- Relying on industry standards to develop system customizations in accordance with best practices;
- Troubleshooting issues while maintaining effective communication with technical leadership/architects and the immediate team;
- Analyzing root causes, identifying trends, and recommending measures to minimize or eliminate future issues;
- Partnering with colleagues to investigate issues and find solutions;
- Implementing, testing, and debugging software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/software, information technology, supply chain management, industrial engineering, distribution, or a related field;
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications;
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance techniques using source code control repositories; experience with debugging and testing;
- Excellent command of both English and French, spoken and written. *Bilingualism is required for this position to conduct activities outside the province of Quebec;
