About the role
- Administers the risk management program on a day-to-day basis
- Provides direction and advice to medical staff and clinical services staff
- Develops and presents educational programs on health care risk management
- Conducts investigations of patient care events and visitor accidents
- Ensures the collection of all information necessary to prepare for potential litigation
- Performs medical record reviews and creates documentation for claims defense
- Reviews subpoenas, autopsy requests, patient complaints, and requests for medical records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing
- 5 years of applicable experience
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
