About the role
- Further develop and embed the sustainability strategy
- Conduct in-depth analyses, identify opportunities for development, and translate complex issues into practical solution concepts
- Plan measures, implement projects, and consistently track milestones and KPIs
- Own strategically relevant initiatives while remaining flexible on ad-hoc topics and changing requirements
- Prepare results tailored to the audience — as concept papers, management briefs, or presentations
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and ESG specialists to ensure measurable progress against targets, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in strategic or analytical roles (e.g., Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Transformation) — ideally with exposure to ESG
- Strong analytical, strategic, and conceptual skills
- Know-how in business model development and a solid understanding of market and regulatory requirements in the ESG context
- Strong understanding of economic and policy issues
- Proven experience in planning, steering, and successfully delivering cross-functional projects, including time and budget responsibility
- Hands-on mentality, solution orientation, and a willingness to take ownership and deliver results
- Fluent German language skills, written and spoken; English skills are an advantage.
