About the role

  • Organize and track key data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) to drive focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage priorities across Asana and Jira, ensuring visibility of team progress and removing blockers.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders across product and leadership teams.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of best practices in project governance, prioritization, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects in data engineering, analytics, or data science organizations.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and teams to achieve measurable results.
  • Hands-on experience with Asana, Jira, and agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of data workflows, pipelines, and analytics processes, with the ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills, with a track record of fostering alignment and accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude AI, or similar) to improve decision-making, automate tasks, or optimize workflows.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to adapt quickly, prioritize effectively, and maintain clarity amidst ambiguity.
