Payroll

• Manage the full monthly payroll cycle with accuracy and timely delivery
• Maintain employee payroll records and handle payroll queries
• Gather and validate monthly changes, including starters, leavers, adjustments, and bonuses
• Apply statutory rules correctly across maternity, paternity, parental leave, SSP, SMP, and SPP
• Prepare and post payroll journals and support month-end processes
• Complete pension reconciliations and manage enrolment checks
• Lead salary reconciliations, variance analysis, and support year-end tasks, including P11Ds
• Produce payroll reports for HR, Finance, and management
• Maintain strong internal controls, ensure GDPR compliance, and drive process improvements
• Support month-end close through accruals, variance analysis, and validation of payroll-related P&L movements
• Maintain audit-ready documentation with the Finance team
• Provide support with ad hoc finance tasks such as invoice processing, bank reconciliations, or data checks
