About the role

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key decision-makers.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategies with company goals and market trends.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff and project estimators.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Anticipate client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with project requirements and budgets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
  • Monitor construction market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Continuously refine sales processes and tools to maximize efficiency and results.

Requirements

  • Experience running sales teams in the construction industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 7–10 years of proven sales experience in the construction industry or related sectors
  • Strong network and established relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to close large-scale, complex construction projects
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on sales initiatives
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and digital sales tools
