About the role

  • Order entry, pricing and product inquiries
  • Manage product availability and report quality concerns
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships with exceptional customer service and telephone skills
  • Execute order management practices according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Ensure order life cycle is completed accurately and void of entry and pricing errors
  • Act as liaison between customers, sales, supply chain and manufacturing
  • Escalate issues timely for efficient resolution and continuous improvement
  • Identify trends related to process issues and recommend process improvements
  • Build working relationships with cross-functional business units with diplomacy and tact
  • Work schedule: M-F, 8am - 4:30pm CST (Central Time Zone)

Requirements

  • Escalate issues timely for efficient resolution
  • Maintain a positive representation of the company at all times
  • Advanced order management skills
  • Act as the liaison between customers, sales, supply chain and manufacturing
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of customer service standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Solid knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for tracking customer call activity and Service requests
  • Identify trends related to process issues and make recommendations for process improvements
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 1+ years of comparable Customer Service experience (Required)
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) (Required)
  • 4 year degree in Business, Communications, Ag or other related field (Preferred)
  • 3+ Years of comparable Customer Service Experience (Preferred)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) (Preferred)
  • Experience with JD Edwards E1 ERP (Preferred)
