About the role

  • As the central point of contact for the stable operation and evolution of our cloud-native environment, you will play a key role with the following focuses:
  • You will develop, automate, and operate our cloud-native stack.
  • You will bring services into production, monitor them, and ensure stability, security, and efficiency.
  • You will reduce operational toil through automation and improve cost structures.
  • You will support the development of new products and services and advise internally on cloud-native topics.
  • You will have a varied set of responsibilities: design, build & operation of SaaS workloads on Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/OpenTofu and Helm.
  • GitOps with Argo CD.
  • Build & maintain CI/CD pipelines, including artifact and image management.
  • Observability: logs, metrics, traces, alerting, SLOs.
  • Security basics: secrets, policies, supply-chain hardening.
  • Backup & restore, DR strategies and regular testing.
  • Incident & change handling, runbooks, postmortems.
  • Implementation and maintenance of platform patterns & best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience operating or developing production systems (Dev or Ops perspective).
  • Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker/OCI, Helm, Git and CI/CD.
  • Terraform or OpenTofu already used in production environments.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language: C#, TypeScript, PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana or Loki.
  • Basic networking and security knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Working style: independent, responsible, and able to prioritize clearly.
  • Nice to have: GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
  • Experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of database operations (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Windows experience.
  • ITSM/ESM experience.
