Machine Learning Engineer

• Lead the AI/ML Engineering organization, including data, ML, platform, and DevOps teams responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure applications
• Define and execute the long-term technical vision and architecture for Labcorp’s AI platforms and development frameworks
• Translate product roadmaps into scalable, cloud-native applications and platforms for internal and external users
• Oversee rapid prototyping and enterprise deployment of AI-driven tools and emerging technologies
• Provide technical direction on the integration of AI/ML models (classical and neural) with modern data systems such as Snowflake, Postgres, and ElasticSearch
• Occasionally take a hands-on role in shaping or reviewing key technical implementations
• Build, mentor, and retain a diverse, high-performing engineering team with expertise in AI/ML, data, and platform development
• Foster a culture centered on innovation, learning, collaboration, and accountability
• Work closely with product, design, data science, clinical, and compliance teams to ensure AI/ML solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant
• Act as the senior technical advisor to executives and stakeholders—translating engineering progress into clear, business-focused outcomes
• Oversee budgets, vendor partnerships, and delivery of engineering initiatives across the AI portfolio
• Continuously improve processes and efficiency through agile and DevOps best practices
• Ensure engineering operations align with global regulatory, security, and ethical AI standards
