Engineer

• Engineering customized configurations for IP networking equipment based on customer requirement.
• Knowledge of FTI Telecommunications equipment installation, configuration and testing standards including, IP network architecture.
• Possess an intermediate (CCNA certification, or equivalent experience) level of experience troubleshooting IP network configurations.
• Domain knowledge of IP subnetting (IPV4 and IPv6) as well as data protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, PIM, and layer 2 Ethernet.
• Troubleshoot and validate provided network designs with a variety of network devices (ex. Cisco, Juniper, etc.) including released telecommunication documentation with a variety of communication circuits like (but not limited to) Carrier Ethernet, TDM (T1s/DS0s), and wireless (LTE/Starlink) per FTI specifications.
• Developing and maintaining Enterprise IP Addressing plans.
• Deploying planned configuration changes to support site or standards modifications.
• Maintaining accurate network documentation and homing plans.
• Providing 2nd level support to IP service activation teams.
• Collaborating with IP Engineers to create and maintain configuration baselines of network equipment.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
