About the role
- Configure, and deploy network solutions based on business requirements
- Set up and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Maintain equipment, inventory, IP schema's and network diagrams
- Implement security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
- Support ICD 503 Risk Mitigation Framework (RMF) processes by patching, hardening, and/or upgrading systems as appropriate
- Travel for this position can be up to 20% annually
- Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 35 pounds across campus for various needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- Active Top Secret/SCI CompTIA Security + CE Certification Preferred
- CCNA or Network +
- Experience with DOD encryption devices
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Self-motivated, able to switch tasks easily, work independently
- Experience with the configuration and ability to manage Solarwinds
- Strong troubleshooting skills
