About the role
- Part of a team providing h16x7 or h24x7 remote services, managing critical systems across the Enterprise
- Support Enterprise Command Center platforms and technologies: Linux, Windows, Citrix, VMWare, Database, Middleware, Backup
- Perform Security & Compliance activities on systems and subsystems such as OS patching and HC activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues, manage filesystems and monitor processes via scripting
- Recommend modernization options, identify business opportunities, and collaborate with other teams and stakeholders
- Share expertise and support clients across industries, broaden or specialize knowledge
Requirements
- Availability to work shift hours on a 16x7x365 or 24x7x365
- Microsoft Windows Server and Linux server implementation and management
- VMware vSphere experience
- Experience in troubleshooting and problem determination
- Fluent Italian
- Good level of English
- Customer orientation, willingness to help, team-oriented, problem determination, and problem-solving attitude
- Appreciated technical experience (1-2 years) in infrastructure service management
- Appreciated familiarity with OS Linux, OS Windows, and VMware
- Knowledge of trouble ticketing systems (ServiceNow, IBM Maximo, GLPI)
- Automation experience (preferred)
- Public/private cloud management experience, especially migration from on-prem to cloud (preferred)
- Microsoft Active Directory (preferred)
- PowerShell and bash scripting (preferred)
