About the role
- Designing and building next-generation, data- and AI-powered solutions
- Developing proof-of-concept models and prototypes, architecting cloud-native data platforms
- Transforming complex business and technical requirements into scalable, production-grade systems
- Working hands-on with modern data engineering and AI technologies
- Ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of vendor platforms, cloud services, and custom-built solutions
- Acting as a technical reference point for users working with highly sophisticated data and AI systems
- Continuously monitoring and optimizing performance, reliability, and security
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, AI engineering, or platform engineering roles
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Flink, or Beam
- Experience designing and operating data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time streaming architectures (e.g., Kafka, cloud-native messaging services)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and managed data services
- Solid understanding of data architecture, distributed systems, and modern data engineering best practices
- Experience with model deployment patterns, APIs, and basic MLOps practices
